Summer Olympic Sports will be conducted at London in United Kingdom, from 27th July to 12th August in the year of the 2012. This is the third time that London will be hosting the modern Olympic games by London and it is the first city to host three times. Olympic sports in 1908 and 1948 were held in London.
Nine cities submitted to bids to host the Olympics which are to be held in 2012. Such cities are Havana, Istanbul, Leipzig, London, Madrid, Moscow, New york, Paris, Rio de Janeiro. On 6th July in 2005, London was selected as the host city at the time of the 117th session of the IOC in Singapore, after four rounds of the voting. London organizing committee was prepared to organize the Olympic games and it is responsible for staging the Olympic games which are held in 2012. Within Greater London, the most of the venues were divided into three zones such as the Olympic zone, the River zone, and Central zone.
