Internships – One of the Best Hiring Tools

With the increased competition between many companies which try to expand their services throughout the world, the demand for the fresh graduates increased significantly. Previously companies used to ask the candidates, why should we hire you. But the trend changed completely and it is the students turn who is trying to ask the organization, why should I work for you. With the new process of selecting the students directly from their colleges like campus recruitment drives, every deserved candidate is ready with two or three offers in hand from the top companies, even before completing his/her graduation. This increases the chance of losing good candidates by the companies. When the student finds one of the offers to be more beneficial there could be something or the other which might have attracted him.

Today's generation are super fast in their thinking that they are not bothered about the size of the organization but they tend to work for the company which gives them more chance to learn. In that note, internships are the popular tools which attract the students towards the company. This kind of programs are helpful since the students tend to learn the things which they are going to work on and also adopt the working environment in which they are supposed to work throughout the rest of their life. On the other hand, the companies are also getting their work done either by paying less or nothing.

These Internship programs are famous in the organizations since many decades. But they are not found that successful since they are using the old practices which do not capture the attention of the students. Though internship is a good practice and a better tool to attract students to the companies, it needs some innovation and creation and should adopt some new practices which attract the young minds, then only they become successful.
